TOUR AT A GLANCE

Embark on an unforgettable adventure to witness the best safari and animal viewing in Kenya and Tanzania. You will stay in first-rate permanent tented camps and lodges and have the best chance of seeing one of the most amazing animal sightings in the world.

Begin your adventure in Kenya, where you will visit the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve and Amboseli National Park, both of which offer wonderful opportunities for wildlife viewing. You will also visit the Karen Blixen Museum, the Giraffe Center, and the Daphne Sheldrick Animal Orphanage in Nairobi. Amboseli National Park is home to huge elephant bulls with enormous tusks, making for a perfect safari photo with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background.

Travel to Tanzania to witness the national parks of Tarangire and Lake Manyara, as well as the local ethnic cultures. Visit the world-famous Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, where you can see enormous herds of grazing animals and the predators that accompany them. The trip’s highlight is trekking down unmarked paths through the mist-shrouded woodlands of the “Bwindi Impenetrable Forest” in Uganda in search of the renowned mountain gorillas.

Explore the richness of Mto-wa-cultural Mbu by visiting the market, a Chagga family who makes banana beer, and a variety of farms. Your tour guide will expose you to the many fruits and vegetables that grow nearby as well as the irrigation system that keeps the local crops alive. You will also visit the Masai Boma for a cultural experience of a lifetime, where you can witness the traditional clothing and way of life of the Masai people.

Travel to the renowned Ngorongoro Crater for a wildlife drive, which is the apex of many people’s safari journey. Nearly 2300 meters above sea level, the highlands surrounding Ngorongoro Crater experience chilly mornings and sporadic low cloud cover. The Crater is one of the few remaining havens in northern Tanzania for the critically endangered black rhino, and the rhino population is closely protected. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to over 30,000 creatures, including the “Big 5.”

End your adventure by visiting the Serengeti, which is divided into three main sections: Seronera, the most accessible and central location; the Western Corridor, which is home to the Grumeti River and the famous wildebeest migration; and the Northern Serengeti, which is less crowded and offers excellent opportunities for game viewing. The wide, undulating grass savannah with the solitary wildlife refuges made of rocky outcrops is what makes the Serengeti famous.
