Duncan Muriuki started the trend in Kenya, and Scott Edkins followed suit in South Africa. Rune Engstrom, a longtime partner, suggested that we launch Destination Africa in South Africa. This is what inspired the creation of DestinationAfrica.travel. Desale Mitiku, an Ethiopian specialist, has recently joined our team.
