The popular stop for safaris travelling via the northern circuit on their route to the Ngorongoro and the Serengeti is Tarangire, which is only a few hours’ drive from the town of Arusha.
In Tanzania, Tarangire boasts the highest density of animals after the Serengeti, and during the dry season, the Tarangire River serves as a draw for thirsty species. The Masai Steppe and the mountains to the south may both be seen from Tarangire, which is renowned for its magnificent baobab trees and amazing views. Finding vast herds of elephant, migrating wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, eland, and numerous predators will be among the highlights.
During the migration season, the Ngorongoro Crater provides vistas of vast herds of zebra and wildebeest, as well as lion, leopard, elephant, and black rhino.
