Zambia: Victoria Falls

Discover Victoria Falls, one of Africa’s most captivating sites and a natural wonder of the globe. There are several adventurous sports available as the majestic Victoria Falls plunges into the Zambezi Gorge.

Visit the Falls, peruse the neighbourhood markets, unwind, or partake in one of the numerous extracurricular activities available, such as white water rafting, helicopter or aircraft trips over the Falls, kayaking, and more.

Zambia

Zambia: Kafue River

We travel a considerable distance to reach the Kafue River via southern Zambia’s miombo wooded highlands. We float along the powerful Zambezi River, which is also the home of the Nyami Nyami, a native deity. paddling through picturesque countryside and nearby riverfront settlements. On a remote island in the middle of untamed Africa, we lead wild lives. We continue our boat safari the next morning through a region teeming with elephants, hippos, and other animals. A motorboat will come get us and take us back to where we started up the river.

Zambia

Zambia: Lusaka

We travel to Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, where we visit the crowded markets and stores to restock on supplies. We travel this afternoon on the Great East Road till dusk. We descend towards the South Luangwa National Park’s valley. One of the best wildlife refuges in Africa, this secluded area is home to several lion, leopard, hippo, and elephant species.

On two game walks and two open 4WD game drives equipped with spotlights, we explore the region while camped along the banks of the Luangwa River in search of nocturnal wildlife.

Malawi

Malawi: Lake Malawi

Greetings from Malawi, the friendly centre of Africa. Before proceeding to our tent on the Lake Malawi beach, we resupply with fresh goods at Lilongwe’s marketplaces. To visit the amazing bays and coves nearby, we’ll take a boat out to the islands. At the border crossing at Zobue, we enter Mozambique once more.

We drive through the Tete region on our trip back over the Zambezi, camping along the way in this far-flung area of Mozambique. We spend the night at Vilankulos after arriving to the Indian Ocean. On a native dhow, an antique ocean-going commerce ship, we spend a whole day exploring the Magaruque Island. What a day: a gorgeous blue sea, snorkelling, broad white beaches, and some delicious seafood.

Mozambique

Mozambique: Inhambane

Since the time when slaves, ivory, gold, and spices were sold, Inhambane has been heavily influenced by the Arab world. Visit the 200-year-old cathedral in Inhambane before travelling to our lodging near the seaside. (Dhow rides and coral reef scuba diving are options.) In order to reach a remote fishing lodge on the beach north of Xai-Xai, we travel south down the coast.

The resort has a stunning view of the surrounding natural vegetation and wide coastline since it is positioned on the coastal dunes. At low tide, a long, rocky reef parallel to the beach is exposed, creating a tranquil, shallow lagoon perfect for swimming and snorkelling.

We enter Kruger National Park via the Transfrontier Limpopo Park to view big game country. thrilling game drives to see the powerful elephant, giraffe, and lions. While unwinding in the peaceful woods, we encounter a place long forgotten by history—a genuine African wilderness.
