Day 1: Arrival & River Sanctuary
Welcome to Malawi! Upon arrival at Lilongwe International Airport, you'll be met by our representative and transferred south to Mkulumadzi Lodge in Majete Wildlife Reserve. Nestled along the banks of the Shire River, this intimate lodge offers 8 luxurious chalets and a deep connection to the wild. Settle in, listen to the river’s rhythm, and unwind into the wilderness.

Day 2: Majete Magic
Wake up to birdsong and coffee on your deck. Today offers a chance to explore the reserve with guided morning and afternoon safaris, where elephants, black rhino, and sable antelope roam. Return for a leisurely lunch, take a dip in the pool, or soak in the river views with a G&T at sunset. Dinner is served beneath the stars.

Day 3: Highland Craft & Horizon Views
After breakfast, take a scenic day trip to Dedza, just an hour from Lilongwe. Visit the renowned Dedza Pottery, where local artisans shape clay into beauty. Enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch in the highlands before returning to the lodge in the late afternoon. As golden hour paints the sky, unwind by the river and enjoy a quiet evening at the lodge.

Mvuu Lodge

Day 4: After breakfast, go on a 4-hour road transfer to Liwonde National Park. Check into Mvuu Lodge, known for its luxurious riverside chalets. The afternoon includes a boat safari on the Shire River, offering sightings of hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife. Dinner is served under the stars at the lodge.

Day 5: Start with an early morning game drive, where you might spot elephants, antelope, and even lions. After breakfast, relax at the lodge or take a nature walk. The afternoon offers another safari activity, either by boat or vehicle. End the day with a romantic dinner by the river.

Day 6: Another day of thrilling safari adventures awaits. Opt for a guided bush walk in the morning and a sunset boat safari in the evening. Enjoy some downtime in between, possibly lounging by the pool or getting a spa treatment. Dinner will be another memorable affair at the lodge.

Day 7: Island Arrival
Transfer via Mzuzu and a short flight to Likoma Island, where a boat takes you to Blue Zebra Island Lodge, a hidden eco-retreat on Nankoma Island in the Marelli Archipelago. Spend the afternoon on the lodge’s private beach or by the infinity pool. Tonight’s lakeside dinner is fresh, seasonal, and magical under the stars.

Day 8: Water Adventures & Hammock Time
Dive into Lake Malawi’s crystal waters, snorkel with tropical fish, kayak the coves, or sail at your leisure. Prefer to laze in a hammock with a book and breeze? This is your day. Evening brings a romantic beach dinner and star-filled skies.

Day 9: Cultural Threads of Likoma
Take a guided cultural tour of Likoma Island, visiting local villages and the iconic St. Peter’s Cathedral. Return to the lodge for a leisurely lunch and relaxation. At sunset, embark on a boat cruise followed by another exquisite dinner celebrating Malawi’s lakeside bounty.

Latitude 13°, Lilongwe

Day 10: Urban Style Meets Soul
Travel to Lilongwe, Malawi’s charming capital. Check in at Latitude 13°, a contemporary boutique hotel set among lush gardens. After a light refresh, explore the city’s contrasts on a guided afternoon tour, visiting local markets, Old Town corners, and the tranquil Lilongwe Wildlife Centre. Return for dinner at the hotel’s stylish restaurant, where Afro-global cuisine takes center stage.

Day 11: Leisure & Last Impressions
Enjoy a slow morning and hearty breakfast. The day is yours, relax poolside, join a yoga class, or indulge in a couple's massage. Optional outings can be arranged for those who want one more taste of the city. Tonight’s final dinner is served al fresco on the terrace, closing your journey in fine style.

Day 12: Farewell, Malawi
After breakfast, transfer to Lilongwe International Airport for your onward flight, departing with memories of Malawi’s warmth, wildlife, and wonder.
