Explore Africa with the "Golf and Game" Tour

16 Days

South Africa in Style: Golf, Gourmet & great adventures

From the glittering coastline of Cape Town to the vine-covered valleys of Stellenbosch, this journey captures South Africa at its finest. Over 17 days, you play legendary golf courses, taste award-winning wines, and explore vibrant cities.

You’ll stand on the whale-watching cliffs of Hermanus, drive along the scenic Garden Route, and wander through historic towns. In Mossel Bay and Knysna, the ocean meets emerald fairways. At Amakhala Game Reserve, you swap the sound of waves for the calls of elephant and lion.

Every moment blends leisure with discovery. You dine where the views are unforgettable and rest where the welcome feels personal. With each stop, South Africa reveals more of its charm, from golden beaches to untamed wilderness.

Weather wise!

Golfing in South Africa is a year-round pleasure, thanks to its diverse landscapes and superb climate. As a result, the fairways remain inviting in every season. For most travellers, the prime months run from September to April, when warm, dry days stretch perfect rounds into golden evenings.

However, winter from May to August also has its appeal. Temperatures stay mild in most regions, especially in the Western Cape and along the Garden Route. While you may need a raincoat for the occasional shower, the cooler air and quieter courses make it worthwhile. In addition, crisp greens, softer light, and fewer crowds create a relaxed pace. If you enjoy a touch of mist and atmosphere, winter golf here still offers spectacular scenery, great value, and unforgettable play.

This itinerary is a sample of what Destination Africa can craft; each journey is fully customizable to perfectly match your clients’ interests, preferences, and travel style
