Day 1: Cape Town
Arrive in Cape Town and enjoy a flexible arrival with options for self-drive or a guided tour. Explore this vibrant city known for its stunning landscapes, cultural diversity, and historical significance.

Day 2: Cape Peninsula (Optional)
Discover the beauty of the Cape Peninsula. Highlights include Chapman's Peak, Hout Bay, Cape Point, and Boulders Beach. Finish with a visit to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.

Day 3: Robben Island & Table Mountain (Optional)
Take a ferry to Robben Island to learn about its history. Enjoy a cable car ride to Table Mountain for panoramic views, then explore the District 6 Museum.

Day 4: Tulbagh

Long before European settlers arrived, the Tulbagh Valley was home to the Khoisan people, who lived as hunter-gatherers and pastoralists. They left behind rock art and cultural traces in the surrounding mountains.

The town is now a wine and heritage destination, famous for its Church Street, Cape Dutch buildings, and excellent wine farms.

It’s also known for its beautiful natural surroundings, including the Witzenberg Mountains and wildflowers in spring.  Tulbagh continues to celebrate its history with museums, wine festivals, and cultural events.

Enjoy some of the hiking trails in the area, the wine farms, art galleries or just enjoy the peace and quiet of this small town.

Clanwilliam, South Africa

Day 5 and 6: Clanwilliam

After breakfast, head to Clanwilliam and surrounding Cederberg

The San and Khoi people lived in the Cederberg thousands of years ago, leaving behind some of the best-preserved rock art in Southern Africa.

In the area, enjoy your surroundings, offering hiking trails, viewing the ancient Bushmen Rock Art, mountain biking trails, Rooibos Tea Farm Tours, Sunset Boat Cruises on the Clanwilliam Dam and stargazing.

Simbavati Cederberg Ridge provides a serene retreat for travellers seeking both relaxation and adventure in one of South Africa's most picturesque regions.

Biedouw Valley.

Nestled between the Cederberg Mountains and the Karoo, the Biedouw Valley is a breathtakingly beautiful and remote valley in the Western Cape, about 30 km from Clanwilliam. Known for its spectacular spring wildflowers, rugged landscapes, and peaceful isolation, it’s a must-visit for nature lovers and photographers.

Day 7 : Paternoster

Make your way to Paternoster

Explore the surrounding areas of Paternoster,  Hopefield and Langebaan enjoying the burst of colours and landscapes transformed by a breathtaking display of wildflowers. Explore on foot or by vehicle.

Spend some time in the small historic fishing villages, known for its whitewashed cottages and stunning beaches, is even more magical during flower season. Drive along the Cape Columbine Nature Reserve to see fields of yellow, purple, and white flowers set against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean.

Day 8

Depart Paternoster for Cape Town via a visit to the West Coast National Park

Nestled along South Africa’s picturesque west coast, just a 90-minute drive from Cape Town, West Coast National Park is a breathtaking natural sanctuary teeming with diverse wildlife, vibrant wildflowers, and pristine beaches. The park is home to an array of wildlife, including eland, zebras, ostriches, and over 250 bird species, making it a paradise for nature lovers and birdwatchers. the Postberg section of the park transforms into a colourful carpet of daisies, vygies, and other indigenous blooms between August and September.

Enjoy a drive or a hike in the park, stopping at the viewpoints to soak in the sweeping views.
