On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, guests are met and transferred to their hotel in the city. Garden Court Victoria Junction is located in the Green Point area, within easy reach of the V&A Waterfront, city attractions and Cape Town’s coastal routes.
The rest of the day is left open for guests to settle in, rest after the flight or begin exploring Cape Town at their own pace.
This slower first day is useful for clients arriving after a long-haul journey. It gives them time to adjust before the more active experiences begin.
This itinerary can run year-round, but the best conditions for hiking, cycling and coastal touring are usually during Cape Town’s warmer, drier months from October to April.
Spring and autumn are especially strong for active travellers, with milder temperatures and good conditions for Table Mountain, Stellenbosch cycling and Cape Point. Winter can still work well, but hiking and coastal activities may need flexibility around rain and wind.

After breakfast, prepare for an active day exploring one of the world’s most iconic natural landmarks.
You will be collected from your hotel and transferred to the starting point of your guided hike with Slow Walks and Hikes. This 3–5 hour hike offers a rewarding journey through breathtaking fynbos landscapes, dramatic rock formations, and panoramic city views.
Explore the trails of Table Mountain alongside our experienced guide, who will bring the mountain to life with their in-depth knowledge, delving into Cape Town's captivating history, unraveling the mysteries of its geology, and discovering the unique plant and animal species that call its’ slopes home. Trail snacks and water are included.
At the summit, enjoy unforgettable views over Cape Town, the Atlantic coastline, Robben Island, and the surrounding mountain ranges.
Descend via the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway using your included one-way ticket.
The remainder of the afternoon is free to enjoy at leisure.

This day focuses on Cape Town’s cultural and culinary layers. Guests explore Bo-Kaap on foot with a local guide, moving through its cobbled streets, mosques, colourful homes and community stories.
The experience includes a spice shop visit before continuing into a Cape Malay cooking lesson. Guests prepare traditional dishes, learn about ingredients and sit down to enjoy the meal they helped create. The itinerary includes the Bo-Kaap Museum entrance fee, spice shop visit, Cape Malay cooking lesson and lunch.
Later, the itinerary includes the District Six Museum, adding important context to Cape Town’s apartheid history and the forced removals that shaped the city.
This is one of the strongest human moments in the itinerary. It works especially well for travellers who want Cape Town to feel personal, not only scenic.

Today you leave the city behind and venture into South Africa’s celebrated Winelands.
After breakfast, travel to Stellenbosch for an active and enjoyable guided cycling experience through one of the country’s most picturesque wine regions.
This is a historic tour of Stellenbosch town by bicycle (or E-Bike), exit town and enjoy small trails towards the Jonkershoek Valley with fantastic views of mountains and fynbos. Visit 2 award winning vineyards and indulge in a Chocolate & Wine pairing. Cellar Tour also included.
Time permitting, you will enjoy a drive through Paarl or Franschhoek Winelands

The final full day follows the Cape Peninsula south to Cape Point. This section of the itinerary focuses on coastal scenery, maritime history and the wild edge of the Cape.
Guests enjoy a guided Cape Point Shipwreck Hike. The Wetu itinerary includes return transfers, a guided coastal and shipwreck hike in Cape Point National Park, entrance fees, light refreshments and talks about maritime history, fynbos ecology and the coastal landscape.
The hike brings together cliffs, beaches, ocean views and stories of the “Cape of Storms”. It is a fitting final activity for a tour built around movement, food, culture and landscape.
An optional swim may be possible, depending on conditions.

After breakfast, guests are transferred to Cape Town International Airport for departure.
The journey ends with a strong sense of Cape Town’s variety, from mountain trails and Cape Malay flavours to Winelands cycling and coastal hiking.
