Beginning at the renowned Jock Safari Lodge in the Kruger National Park. The Biyamiti and Mitomeni rivers meet above the lodge, providing breathtaking views of the water and the surrounding bushland. You can go for your afternoon game drive as soon as your guide is prepared. As the sun slowly dips toward the golden hour of twilight, anything can happen in this area, which is renowned for its abundance of wildlife and resident lion prides. Your senses are heightened by the rawness and purity of your surroundings, which make the colours look sharper and the air sweeter. Your guide will look for a sundowner location to take in the sights as the sun sets toward the horizon. The first day of your safari, with a glass in hand and the African bush all around you, is one of the few experiences that can compare. Drive back to the resort at night while using a spotlight to look for nocturnal animals emerging from their burrows. Less common animals you might observe include honey badgers, civets, and genets.
